One hour of instruction per session
A high-energy, welcoming program built for novice to intermediate players — where kids work on shot basics, footwork, and rallying while having a blast on the court. It's your child's tennis journey, and it starts and develops here. Learning how to play with skill and fun.

An opportunity for novice players or beginners of equal skill and experience. Work with certified pros on shot basics, point construction, and rallying — then graduate to Love to Play! for more advanced match play.

You've learned the basics — now it's time to use them. Love to Play! is fun, mentored match play for low intermediates and Love to Learn graduates. Pro led help guides you through points. Pros will run drills at the beginning of each session to cover playing strategies. Then experienced players will help every court through their match play.

Phil Girardi is one of Florida's most credentialed tennis professionals — certified as a USTA Professional, PTR Level 2 Professional, and RSPA Elite Professional. With certifications across all three leading teaching organizations, he brings a depth of technical knowledge and instructional expertise that is rare at any level of the game.
A former USTA Florida Section President and Intercollegiate Tennis Association Coach of the Year, Phil has dedicated over 27 years to Treasure Bay Tennis Center as Director of Tennis and Head Pro. From 2006 to 2026, he also served as Head Coach of the St. Petersburg College Titans women's tennis team, leading the program to national championships along the way. Combined with a national title in USTA Junior tennis, Phil has claimed three national championships across his coaching career.
Whether working with a beginner picking up a racquet for the first time, a junior competitor chasing a college scholarship, or an adult player looking to take their game to the next level, Phil brings the same energy and commitment to every lesson. His mission has never changed — make tennis accessible, fun, and transformative for every player who walks through the gate.
