An opportunity for novice players or beginners of equal skill and experience. Work with certified pros on shot basics, point construction, and rallying — then graduate to the Love to Play! program for more advanced match play.

Phil Girardi has been the heart of Treasure Bay for over 27 years. As Director of Tennis, Head Pro, and Head Coach of the St. Petersburg College Titans, he brings a rare mix of elite expertise and genuine warmth to every lesson.
A former USTA Florida President and ITA Coach of the Year, Phil's mission is simple — make tennis accessible, fun, and transformative for everyone who walks through the gate.

Every member of the Blue Thunder coaching staff is personally trained and mentored by Coach Phil. Our assistants are certified through USTA Coaching and have completed all SafePlay requirements — so you can feel confident your family is in great hands on every court.
